Spending Spree
Bought a few misc stuff
1. few blackberry charging cradles (for personal and home blackberries)
2. STI short shifter with knob package from Agency Power
3. Cheap Rokinon Wide Angle Fisheye Lens (8mm, 3.5)
http://www.amazon.com/Rokinon-FE8M-N-Fisheye-Nikon-Black/dp/B002LTWDSK/ref=sr_1_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1313579633&sr=1-2
I read a few reviews from owners and it is supposed to be pretty decent. The Nikon version of the lens is "better" but also about $750. Since I am not a photographer, I think this budget lens should suffice.

RCE Yellows
I was able to find a local member of NASIOC selling his RCE Yellows with STI struts. Should be a plug and play swap!!
I'll post a comparison once I have had the time to install them. Here are a few pics of them bungee corded down in the trunk lol.
Also, I recieved my OEM spark silver metallic splash guards so those are awaiting installation as well.

MPG
Worst part of the STI is the MPG. Especially during the recent heat requiring me to run the AC.
I just checked my tire pressure though and I have managed to get the MPG from 17 MPG up to over 21 on my daily commute (average speed is under 12 mph and takes 25-30 minutes). In the MINI it went up from 22 to 25 MPG.
I guess it pays to check your tire pressure!
On a related but unrelated note, I wish more car companies would offer direct injection in their cars. They should really focus on improving gas milage along with performance. For me I like my cars to be good performance with at least decent MPG. Otherwise to me it is worthless to have a car that gets garbage MPG. Why spend 30-40k on a car that you can never drive because it costs so much in fuel!!

Android stuff
So thanks to Shaun my NOOK Color is working once again. It is currently running CynaogenMod7. (previously it had a NookieDEVs root which worked and a Froyo which kinda of didn't work so well)/
Recently my android phone (Samsung Epic 4) has been suffering some lag and general poor performance. It is currently just running a rooted Froyo version. I am going to be updating it to either a Midnight ROM or the CM7 like the Nook. Which brings up the point that I need a spare phone to use while I troubleshoot anything on the Epic. Mostly this is cause I don't use my home phone.
So I bought a cheapo blackberry for sprint with clear ESN on ebay for 100$. I hope it comes soon so the Epic's upgrades can begin.
