July update

Few misc July updates. 

Installed my old tank bag (had this since forever on all my bikes). Bought some cheap paddock stands, woodcraft rear spool sliders, and a new (non-current) scorpion exo 500 oil in hi-viz yellow.

Installed shogun no cut frame sliders and a domo. 

Domo has been a tradition on my Kawasakis. Last one had a domo playing an electric guitar. Since I "upgraded" bikes from a 300 sport bike to a 636 super sport bike, I upgraded domo to a bat man domo. Rockstar domo was installed in my STi. 

I'm thinking about getting a Kriega R25 backpack. Reviews look amazing and should make hauling a laptop more comfortable.

tinted windscreen and breakfast ride

So i finally got around to the popular DIY tinted windscreen modification using plastidip on the inside. This keeps a glossy look from the outside.

Applied some Shinigami badge decals from Bleach to the helmet

Made a Nikon mini lanyard out of my old camera strap.  Used a lighter to melt the edge so it won't fray.

Rode over 300 miles this week. that is pretty decent I think. I adjusted the throttle play, idle, installed some blind spot mirrors, de-stickered the rear tail, fixed the gear indicator adhesive, threadlocked the license plate bolts, and some other random stuff. The rear stand is really useful for lubing the chain without having anyone help you.


I am thinking about getting a new leather jacket, maybe some woodcraft clipons, C3 tank grips, a new exhaust (I don't care for the two brothers really), and a tail pack from fastcycles. so much for not doing anything to this bike.

in other news, my kevlar lined riding pants and new gloves are in transit!
